Morehead City: Take Hwy. 70E across two bridges into Beaufort, go straight thru
the first stoplight, take a right at the 2nd street (Queen St.), go straight 3
blocks to the Waterfront, turn left and we're on your right.
You
will check in at the Outer Island Kayaks booth right on the Boardwalk,
directly across from The Inlet Inn.
From
Atlantic Beach:
Cross the Atlantic Beach Bridge to the mainland and take a right on Hwy. 70
going East and follow the above directions from Morehead City.
From
"Down East" - Harker's Island, Cedar Island: Follow Hwy. 70 into
Beaufort. Just after No Name Pizza,
go straight thru the stoplight at Cedar St. (don't turn right at Hwy. 70W), go
straight three blocks to the Waterfront, turn right at Front St., go 2 1/2
blocks and we're on your left. You
will check in at the Outer Island Kayaks booth right on the Boardwalk,
directly across from The Inlet Inn.

is located approximately 3 hours Southeast from Raleigh, NC
and approximately 2 hours North of Wilmington,
NC.
To
get to Beaufort from the Northern Outer Banks, you will need
to take the 30 minute ferry from Hatteras to Ocracoke
Island, and then take a 2.75 hour ferry from Ocracoke Island
to Cedar Island, NC. From Cedar Island, follow Highway
70 West for 45 minutes to Beaufort, NC.
