We are a Volunteer Based Community Service Project called “Keep Beaufort Beautiful”. During the Spring, Summer and Fall months, the influx of tourists into the downtown Beaufort area has consistently resulted in an overwhelming plague of trash, beer bottles and cigarette butts littering the streets of our Historic Downtown District.
We do not attempt to assign blame for the problem, nor do we want to criticize others for not taking care of it. We simply want to clean it up - get the job done - take care of business - clean up our town - and have a good time doing it.
Get out and about to help your friends and neighbors clean up the streets and sidewalks of our beautiful town.
Homeowners can help by picking up the trash and debris that is around your block.
Shop and Restaurant Owners can help by having their employees pick up the trash and debris from around their establishments.
And, anyone who would like to help clean up the streets and sidewalks of the downtown area can help out.
