The Cape Lookout Lighthouse Adventure departs from Cape Pointe Marina in Harkers
Island, NC
Follow Hwy 70 East through Beaufort being sure to watch for two turns in
particular.
After you cross the drawbridge into Beaufort, you will turn left at the 2nd
traffic signal - there will be the Beaufort Cafe on the left.
The next turn to watch for will be in 5.2 miles - you will turn right when you
see East Carteret High School on your left, and a gas station on your right.
Continue to follow Hwy 70 East for 4.9 miles and turn right on Island Road
following the signs to Harkers Island. There will be a Wheatly Boys Auto
Mechanic shop on one side of Island Road, and a gas station on the right side of
Hwy 70 as you drive East.
Continue 3.3 miles on Island Road, and look for Cape Pointe Marina on your
right.
