Be ferried to Pirate Island where the Treasure Hunt will begin. Kids will love this engaging experience! Parents and kids take home some unique booty!

Marooned by Blackbeard's Crew for burning the treasure map, this savvy pirate knows more than he's letting on.  Possessing the only clue to the location of the treasure, only the help of a dedicated Crew is needed to track down Blackbeard's treasure.

Your Crew must help solve puzzles, crack riddles & compete in challenges in order to uncover the clues that will lead them to the buried treasure.  Truly an interactive experience that will entertain and educate!

You'll depart from the Historic Beaufort NC Waterfront for a short passenger ferry boat ride to "Pirate Island".  The Hunt lasts for about 45 minutes, and you will return to the mainland by approximately 11am.

Pirate Island Treasure Hunt

Blackbeard's Amazing Beaufort Adventure will lead your group through the Historic Town of Beaufort, NC, looking for clues, participating in challenges, solving puzzles, answering trivia, and working as a team to win Blackbeard's coveted treasure.

You'll feel like a band of pirates lusting for gold as you scour the streets of this beautiful town for your next clue.  In addition to the fun and excitement, you'll also have a great time enjoying the sights, sounds, and stories of Historic Beaufort, NC.

Founded in 1709, Beaufort is North Carolina's 3rd oldest town, and the 12th oldest town in the entire United States.  A traditional port fishing town, Beaufort has been home to merchants, fisherman, whalers, shipbuilders, and even the infamous pirate Blackbeard, who still dominates much of the local lore and legend.
